We took our son in for his first ever fever illness. Our regular doctor wasn't available and we saw Dr. McCord. She was wonderful. We noticed how she spoke to our son and explained what she was doing as she checked his ears, nose, and mouth. She responded to him when he spoke to her. She made him very comfortable and it was a quick and easy appointment, which isn't always an easy task with a two year old. She also answered all of our questions professionally. When we have concerns, Dr. McCord always makes us feel reassured. It is important that we have a pediatrician who keeps up on research and evidence-based practice, but also has lots of experience and applies it, considering all factors. I feel like our family is in very good hands with Dr. McCord. We have also had great experiences with other physicians in the practice who we have seen for urgent care.
Kind, thorough, efficient. She listened to my concerns. We were able to get in and out for an ear infection in about 15 minutes. It was fabulous!
