My car has been In the shop 2 times first time $4,000 second time $9,000 havent had a car in over a month because it has been in the service department I feel like they could have told me all that stuff needed to be fixed on the car the first time instead of it needing to come back

McConnell Imports, Inc. repaired our 2018 Honda Accord (replaced the turbocharger, code PO299) on June 15, 2023.The car worked well until July 13, 2023, when we began getting the same warning messages on the dashboard that we got before McConnell Imports, Inc. repaired the car.My wife was in ****** so she took the car to Merchant Honda, in Selma.They told ** that the McConnell Imports, Inc. mechanic had left the connector wire with a bad connection, caused by a bent pin on the connector of the turbocharger. About 4 months after purchasing a vehicle from this business for over $16,000 in Feburary of 2023, I discovered that it needs a new engine. The estimated cost to replace the engine is $11,000 to $12,000. I put faith into this business and trusted them to sale a reliable used vehicle to me, my wife, and 2 toddlers despite the red flags I encountered during the buying process. When I called to discuss my situation with them, their only proposal was to trade the vehicle back to them in exchange for another of their vehicles.

Outstanding Product, Great Service Mighty pleased with the 2007 Acura MDX that we ordered from McConnell Acura. Our salesman was very pleasant to work with, very professional. It was a little daunting to pre-order (ordered Oct 06, got Nov 06) a vehicle that noone had seen yet, especially since my husband knew a little more about some of the available options than the sales team, including the manager. I went to McConnell Honda on June 5, 2020 to purchase a 2020 Honda HRV, it had over 200 miles, I paid $5000.00 down however on today June 8, 2020 I decided that the HRV is too small and I wanted to change and purchase a 2020 Honda CR-V but I was told that it was too late for me to change. On their website the saying is, "We treat customers like family." I think that they would let their family member change vehicle within 3 days with little extra miles but not me. I was traveling from Louisiana to Chelsea, AL to bring my sister my 2010 Honda Pilot since her car had been totaled. On the way there, the check engine light started flashing. I exited and pulled into the first gas station and Googled Honda Dealerships near me - McConnell Honda came up. I called and spoke to someone in their service department. Purchased a 2019 Honda Accord Sport with 200 miles. I was told this was a dealership trade. I had the car less than 2 weeks and lights came on saying to take to dealer. I was told this was a result of the vehicle not being driven (that didn't make sense). Less than 2 weeks later I get another light saying now it's my security system to take back to Honda.
