The plumber was great. Respectful and professional. I needed a fix on a leaking back flow pump. I’m a new home owner and probably could have figured it out myself but they charge 150 an hour for their service (minimum 1 hour). I asked how much the parts were and they said 50$ bucks so I said go ahead and fix it. I got the invoice and it was $290: $150 for time and $140 for parts… so I paid 3x what the part really costs for overhead?!? I practically never write reviews, but we feel it’s worthwhile to share our experience. I want to clarify that we had a seamless experience prior with McComb fixing a cracked sprinkler pipe. They were quick, efficient and professional. Shortly after though, on May 27th, they did repair work in our home. By June 4th, we discovered a major leak in our basement due to something not being installed correctly. They were unable to come to my house (the son/worker had an injury). They immediately referred me to Colorado Sewer Service. I was VERY pleased with both companies. I’ve used McComb plumbing before and they’ve always been very helpful, thorough and informative. A neighbor needed a plumber and I recommended McComb to her. She said they were excellent to work with. I really appreciate both companies.
