RecommendedIt was great experience for it being our first time staying at the lodge and the most amazing views on our 1st year anniversary. Sandra and all the employees were just friendly and great. The food was delicious. I have to recommend anything smoked Ribs and bbq was superb. Thank you for all the welcoming wishes. See y’all soon
What a treat. Such a wonderful restaurant with great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a VIEW only God created. Everything we ate was delicious, fresh and well prepared. I had fried catfish, and it was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. We also ate breakfast at the restaurant. Delicious as well. The pancakes and omelette were great.

We were seated and saw no one for more than 15 minutes. Finally, we got the attention of the hostess who seated us and told her no one had shown up to take our order. She sent a waitress who took our order. She came to the table and brought two plates for bread that were wet and still had food on them. We just left. It was more disappointing because it was our anniversary and my birthday. It’s a beautiful place, but the service was terrible.

The smoked prime rib was fantastic!
Absolutely will be on our list of favorites! The food was excellent, and the scenery was just phenomenal. The pictures just do not do it justice. Service at the restaurant was five-star. Big shout out to our server Hannah! Can’t wait to go back!!
BE AWARE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PHONE SERVICE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MOUNTAIN. THERE IS A GATE THAT IS CONTROLLED BY AN ATTENDANT. IF THE GATE IS CLOSED, YOU HAVE NO WAY OG REACHING ANYONE FOR ASSISTANCE TO OPEN THE GATE!! If you are driving a long way......I don’t know that I would take the chance!!! Read my story!!! My birthday dinner was scheduled here at 7:45pm August 16. We initially requested seating for 10 guests. I called approximately 2 hours before arrival and asked to add 4 and the fellow told me that was just fine.... read more
