Great little dinner on the end!
I live locally and This is the second time I've stayed at the Mercantile, both times were so lovely! The first time was the Railroad room during a snow storm which was so serene, This time my Husband and I rented the Shasta Wintu Room, it was soo peaceful and relaxing. I called them to say id be late checking in and wanted to add the luxurious spa items, and they left them for me on the bath tray for when we got here I was so glad, I had assumed they'd forget and to my surprise they didn't. We stayed in the whisper room, so named for the owner's beloved dog,with our westies. The room was pre warmed by the staff. A few steps down from our doorstep was a small lawn for the boys to take care of business. Breakfast credit was included, and we chose Traci's corner Cafe. Wonderful food, good sized portions, hit the spot. Location wise, right next to Mount Shasta and the 3 mccloud falls. We had a wonderful time here.
