I purchased an HVAC mini split system from McClelland, and am very happy with it. Due to other things going on, it was about a month from when I first got an estimate, and they honored the original price. I didn’t need it immediately, so it was about 2 weeks before they started (they said that if it was urgent, they could make it sooner). Called McCelland for an appointment to fix an inoperative whole house fan. Technician showed up on time and was familiar with our fan and the controls. He found the electronic timer defective & said it a common problem with that particular timer. He replaced it in kind. When he installed the new timer, as I learned later, he uses sheet rock screws to secure the new timer. Well, it was a plastic box and the sheet rock screws stripped the threads so the new timer doesn’t fit square in the box. Now the timer he installed was bi... read more
