Least professional business office I have ever leased/rented from. For potential renters- PLEASE DO NOT LIVE HERE. I'm happy to share my experience in full detail if you reach out to me, but let's just say from move-in to move-out they were unprofessional, negligent, disrespectful, and potentially unlawful (issue still pending). Upon move in you paid a $300.00 refundable deposit, a $200.00 non-refundable cleaning fee and a $600.00 non-refundable pet fee. We're going on 4 months of being woken up at 4 AM or earlier due to the upstairs neighbors. This is partly due to horrible construction and partly due to the neighbors themselves and their dogs who greatly outweigh the 35 pound limit. Management will not do anything about it. Inside the apartment, the carpet has many bubbled up spots and holes near the walls. Outside, there's a lot of dog poop and dead landscaping. Do not rent from this company, they don't care about their tenants at all.
I moved into a McCathren Management property, ****** ******, in February 2016 when I first moved to Spokane. It was one of the only apartments I could find. Living there was fine. There was a lot of turnover with the staff but no huge complaints. I moved from a three bedroom to a two bedroom when my lease was up. They claimed there was a "pet smell" (I have a cat, though I had cleaned thoroughly) and charged me a cleaning fee from my security deposit. Fine. I got the rest of the deposit back.
