I used to think McCarthy was a good company, although some technicians are better than others. But recently about the only thing any of them have wanted to do is sell me some upgrade or an entirely new system. Several recent technicians have either been incompetent or dishonest, or perhaps both. Communicating with the company has become a nightmare. And customer service is practically non-existent. I'm looking for a new company. Stay away from this one.
Lied about the quality of HVAC model they were selling me, and charged me a premium for it. Slippery salesmen. There are much better services in the area. Do your research.
Sold us a Trans heating system that we have had nothing but problems with. A brand new system should not require constant repairs. On top of that, customer service very poor and they do not show up for their scheduled appointments. Will absolutely not do business with this company again.
Great service
When our AC system stopped giving cool air, our landlord called McCarthy to look into it, and they said we need to replace the system, which they did. As a result, the air did get cooler, but it struggled to reach the setting on the thermostat and as a result never turned off, working day and night with the exception of times when the setting matched the temperature outside anyway on cooler nights.
