Lied about the quality of HVAC model they were selling me, and charged me a premium for it. Slippery salesmen. There are much better services in the area. Do your research.
Sold us a Trans heating system that we have had nothing but problems with. A brand new system should not require constant repairs. On top of that, customer service very poor and they do not show up for their scheduled appointments. Will absolutely not do business with this company again.
Great service
When our AC system stopped giving cool air, our landlord called McCarthy to look into it, and they said we need to replace the system, which they did. As a result, the air did get cooler, but it struggled to reach the setting on the thermostat and as a result never turned off, working day and night with the exception of times when the setting matched the temperature outside anyway on cooler nights. Two years ago my husband and I had McCarthy and Sons come and replace our HVAC system. The replacement has worked out okay but now we find out they NO LONGER service the DC/MD area. Now how shoddy is that? Asked them what are we to do about our system not properly working and was told to check with a company that works in DC!!! To that I say BULL.
