My mother had a very upsetting and unprofessional experience at Dr. Stewart’s office. After undergoing testing, she was told over the phone by a physician assistant—not even by Dr. Stewart herself—that she potential had Alzheimer’s. Delivering such a serious and life-changing diagnosis while home alone I might add, without an in-person consultation, support, or explanation is completely inappropriate and lacking in basic compassion. Me nor my husband evergot a chance to see the actual Dr. despite asking to do so. The Nurse practitioner completed an annual exam Then referred me to the specialist that performed the same exam and I had to pay out-of-pocket I later found out I didn’t need the nurse practitioner to do the first one. She could’ve sent me to the specialist all along.

First visit was great, second visit not so great, appointment time was 1:45 and waited to be taken back way past appointment time. Front desk are extremely rude and are lazy. Asked the receptionist if she could go see how long it would be until we were taken back and she sat there with a blank stare to her face like she didn’t know what I was asking her and than responded with no.
