I cannot explain how INFURIATING it was dealing with “Andrew” on the phone today. I just paid my premium, then we got hit with a $400 bill, ONTOP of not having access to our accounts for over a month due to Eries system wide outage. I was calling in today asking about the bill and trying to decide if I wanted to stay with Erie or switch companies and the guy kept repeating “well we close in 5 minutes” or “well I can do that tomorrow, we close in 4 minutes”. I am not happy that I frequent ly get an incremental payment notification without any explanation....
We were without central AC for about two weeks. Our 27-year-old system had been maintained by James A. Wheat & Sons over the years. Last year we knew we were beginning to kick the can down the road. Then it just died. I'm giving a shout-out to James A. Wheat & Sons for getting us set up with a temporary solution of a loaner portable unit and getting us on the schedule ASAP for a replacement.
