Very nice and helpful staff. Complex is well kept. My apartment Is nice and roomy. Neighborhood is very quiet. They also have great amenities, I’m really looking forward to my stay at Safire.
Worse place to rent an apartment from.. if you get a parking lot, they don’t even keep records of who lives there or who owns the slots.. they always try to overprice rent after your contract is ended.. their whole compound is not maintained.. office ours are shit and the management is not there to help you at all.. 3 years later. It got even worse, apartment complexes got sold to another corporation and management never changed. Update June 2026: Please read this before moving here and protect yourself. I lived at Safire at Matthews in Unit 1314 for a 14-month lease. This has been my least favorable renting experience so far. The apartment was advertised at a renovated rate, but the unit I received had many problems from the beginning. There were mold issues, things falling apart, repeated maintenance problems, and ongoing pest issues. My A/C had repeated problems during my lease, including loud vibration from the outside unit. I just moved out after a year of living here. Pros -Location is pretty good; your grocery store is like 5 mins away. Not too far nor too close to the city. Traffic can get bad, but it's not too crazy. -The unit itself is not bad either. Neighbors were quiet. Never had a problem with anybody. Work orders were handled quickly. Update May 2026: After moving out in February, I was charged almost $2,000 in move-out charges, including items that were later confirmed to be incorrectly added. I had to send two formal dispute letters by USPS and was preparing to go to small claims court before several charges were finally removed and a refund check was issued. Before anything was corrected, I received at least 10 emails demanding payment of the alleged balance due, but no one actually helped resolve the issue until I started mailing serious formal disput... read more
