Well proportion sandwiches, friendly staff, family atmosphere. If I lived closer I would make McAlister's a daily experience.

We had a great experience at McAlister’s Deli in Leander during our recent team lunch on Thu around noon. The cashier and manager were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The place is cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the food was delicious as always. Thank you for the wonderful service!
The cashier had an attitude and was very rude. We had the grand kids with us and she rushed them to order and did not ask if they wanted a drink, then there was a discussion with her about drinks, she got 2 out of 4 wrong. I asked for no almonds in my salad, but there were almonds. I didn't want to deal with her again so I just picked them out. Not good. I was so disappointed- Ordered the pecan chicken salad. I got greens galore but not a single pecan in the salad, and 2 blueberries and chicken at the BOTTOM of the bowl. Who does that? It was literally greens and dressing. The club had no flavor. I feel like franchise restaurants are going down hill, I was just disappointed. Won’t be coming back- HOWEVER, employees were very nice. No problem there. Just the food.
