Good food but don't bother with reservations or calling in ahead, it took over an hour to seat 12 people
My husband and I came to macadoos for an early Mother's Day dinner and we were SO pleased! The waitstaff was kind and the bartender even made me a virgin margarita since I am 8 months pregnant and it was delicious!!

My wife and I went to McAdoo's for an early (4:30pm) Valentines Day Dinner yesterday and had a fantastic experience. Our server, John did an outstanding job and both my wife and I agreed he was one of the best we've had at any restaurant. I took John's recommendation and had an off the menu option of Chilean Seabass served over Cajun Jambalaya and topped with a Boudreaux sauce while my wife had the Cajun Enchiladas. Our favorite restaurant in New Braunfels. Cannot resist the McAdoo Fondoo for appetizer and Redfish Ponchatrain for entree is absolutely wonderful! Sunday brunch with Bloody Mary bar is the best. Love to take our guests there. And we always get great service, especially from our favorite waitress, Jancy. It's all good!
My husband and I went last night and OMG the food was great! Service was great! The crab fondue I THINK that's the one was man let's just say we r going again.
Nice atmosphere and delicious food! I recommend the Crawfish tamales and puree to start. Excellent service too!

We started with the crabcakes... goodness gracious, they were so good next time I make it out McAdoo's I'm order them as my meal! The shirmp and crawfish etouffee served over jambalaya was AMAZING! And I've never tasted dirty rice that was THAT good... go to McAdoo's!
