If I could give zero stars, I would. From the beginning, the experience was disappointing. When I explained how I wanted my hair, I was met with attitude from the older stylists, who then began speaking in their own language—making comments that seemed to be about Americans, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. The entire appointment took eight hours. I requested small boho braids, but although the parts were medium-sized, the braids themselves were small and lacked sufficient braiding hair. Love this place the ladies are wonderful and they always do a fantastic job on my hair!
When I say I am so excited about how my hair turned out this is actually and understatement. My hair was braided exactly how I wanted. The best part is Sandrine listened to me when I explained that I didn’t want my hair braided tight nor did I want the braids to be heavy. She made sure that she did not braid my edges. Terrible customer service! They were very hostile! Braider made a mistake and refused to correct it and argued with me and was extremely rude and uncouth… The manager or salon owner was also rude and terrible. I have never felt this bad after getting my hair braided. She eventually corrected it after much drama but it wasn’t properly done and I had to manage it. I would not recommend!
Unfortunately I won’t be returning. They are EXTREMELY SLOW. Slowing down constantly to watch the television. I’ve never had slower braiders. I had two women working on my head, but not at the same time. I came at 1pm & didn’t leave until 11pm !!!! Never again! $430
