This is the best coffeehouse in rapid. We tried several. This is a cozy spot with excellent coffee and tea. They also have great chocolates! They also have the most beautiful views to relax and enjoy your drinks!
Wonderful little gem of a coffee house! We are not from SD so finding a close sit down coffee house was challenging (most are drive through…). MAC Coffee house not only had the best coffee we had the entire trip through the state, but also a wonderful seating area looking over the Black Hills. If I lived here I’d spend a lot of time here. A+++
Great place to sit and enjoy the view!
Cute spot to pop in for a coffee near Mt. Rushmore! The shop is also a bit of a gift shop and is joint with a chocolate ship. Espresso drink was great, but I did need to ask for less sweet version (I tried the Boyd and Pat). Brew coffee was one of the better brew coffees we had on this trip! We also tried two of the breads - one lemon, and one huckleberry. Both were great pound cakes and I would love to have again! Not too dry.
Couldn’t get served, felt like trying to get a bartenders attention. Chocolate looked great but gave up and had to leave. Coffee is kept in warming jugs, which is usually an indicator it’s old, weak or both.
