No Bedside Manner At All Everyone is right on the money as to the doctors attitude or the lack of it. I don't like him and my dog certainly does not either. He does not talk and with my dog with Addison's he does not even request a blood test to find out what her level are.
Expired Vaccines...and Cold Comfort We took our pets to Dr. McClellan for years, and were very happy with his excellent professional service. We were so dissappointed to discover he retired and the practice was bought by Dr. Kellogg. This was our experience...We gave Dr. Kellogg a few chances but, quickly decided no more. No complaints here Sorry, but I have to disagree with every review on here. We've been with McClellan for approx. 3 years and never had a bad experience. I think Dr. Kellogg's personality is less "touch feely" and more matter of fact, which might bother some people, but the techs are full of love for the animals, always rubbing our dogs' chests to keep them happy and calm. Not worth it, find another place. Worst Vet Service Ever! The staff was nice well at least the morning girl was but because of the comments I got a quote for a basic exam and grooming (bath and shave) before we went. The lady in the morning was sweet, she quoted me the prices the day before over the phone, the lady in the after noon was greedy and upped everything and the groomer took the dog and left with out a word. When we picked up my baby he was bald as can be, they charged us 50 over the quoted price, charged us twice ... read more
Don't do it OR change vets NOW! Yes it was so sadd to see Dr. McClellan leave. In fact it was a surprise to me and while I was trying to give Dr. Kellogg a chance - I'm simply at the end of my rope. He frequently performs work without asking and this is on my 13 year old dog....she puts her at a higher risk than needed and does not give me the option. He is rough with her when cutting her nails and has now started taking her in the back to give vaccinations, take blood, etc. I am very uncomfortable with Dr. Kellogg. The rest... read more
Behind the scenes My dog was loosing fur. Took my pup elsewhere to find out it was mange. He advised me that she was mixed with a HAIRLESS BREED!
Awful I have taken my dog here 3 times and have found the vet to be awful. He takes my dog out of sight to give him vaccations which makes me uncomfortable, I am not sure why he does this. Every vet I have been to always gives the injections infront of me. I also find him extremely expensive and doesn't cure ANYTHING and doesn't tell you ANYTHING.
Horrible I have taking my animals here for years. Dr. James McClellan and his staff were always highly spoken of and for good reason. Their care and compassion for the patients was evident every visit. Since the new dr. , Dr. Fruit Loops I believe, has been there the service has completely sunk. While most of the staff remains the same and just as compassionate, the new dr. is no more than a common thief. He took my dog to the back area for an injection and returned with almost $500 of unauthorized tests. I will never return... read more
