Very frustrating experience at McLane Food Service in Rocky Mount, NC. I checked in at 2:30 AM and was told by the security lady that I couldn’t park in the yard, even though other trucks were parked there. She claimed she called me for a door, but I never received any call. When I asked her to confirm my number, she avoided the question—very unprofessional and poor communication. Terrible place. They take over 5 hours to unload your truck. Don't be late for your appointment—they will charge you $250 for arriving late.

Not sure why all the negative reviews. I was almost 3 hours late from appt. after driving 2800 miles. Still had a very pleasant, professional and efficient experience delivering here. Yes, the backing will test your skills, but I’ve certainly been to much worse places! I’d gladly deliver here again. Security man was cool as a cucumber!

Appointment was at 0200, arrived at 0114 and was told to leave the property after I checked in and find some where to park until they call me. There is a parking area half a mile down the road on the left had side called UBW. but it is $25 to park there. I received a call around 0220 for my door. The rest of the reviews are all true also. Don't understand how there is absolutely no staging here. So my advice would be either show at your exact appointment time or only 10 to 15 minutes early.
