I had a consultant who made absolutely NO conversation with me!!!! She literally asked NO questions about my fiancé or my wedding. She didn’t comment on anything I tried on and didn’t give any advice or suggestions on how to make a dress better or what to add to it. She didn’t even give me a bra to try on the dresses with!!! She was not helpful in finding dresses that I was interested in and pulled ones that weren’t my style. To top it all, she even told me that I wasn’t going to fit into much of anything there. RecommendedThia was amazing! She helped us find braidsmaid's dresses and with her expertise helped us from the perfect wedding gown! From the second we walked in she made myself and my party feel at home. She did an excellent job at involving all of my maids and gave wonderful suggestions at what to look for. After finding out that I did not find my dress yet, she instantly went to get a room and found multiple dresses that I loved and fit me well. She went over and beyond to make my day very special! I made an appointment to start bridal shopping. I hadn’t gone anywhere else and was just planning on getting a feel for styles. Angie was my stylist and she was amazing. Friendly, helpful, and not pushy. She listened to my wants and brought me the perfect amount of dresses to try on. She pulled one from the rack a little while into our session because she thought I’d like it. She was right! It was perfect. I started crying when I knew it was the one. Ashley was my consultant, this was my first time trying on dresses ever and of course was overwhelming with everything my family wanted to see, she picked 2 dresses for me based off of what I told her I liked. This was the worst experience I have ever had trying on bridesmaids dresses! They didn’t have anything bigger than a 12 in the dress line I was looking at.... so after telling the lady a guess on what size which was not close to a 12 she still stuck me in the fitting room to “try” on said size 12 dresses... I couldn’t even get them past my thighs. We understand your frustration with the sizing of the bridesmaids samples but that is something faced by every bridal store in the country. We have over 1,000 different maids styles in our store so we actually have far, far more plus sized samples than just about any other store. Still, it would be cost prohibitive to have plus sizes for every single line we carry.
I made an appointment a month in advance for 12:30 to try on bridesmaid’s dresses. Our time was shared with another bridal party, and we had no attention paid to us by our consultant. She was solely focused on the other party. We pretty much complete our dress appointment ourselves minus the sizing and paying.
