Dr. Al-Mansour has been a colleague of mine for several years. His focus on research and cutting edge medical care is unparalleled. I would recommend him highly.
He was unwilling to discuss non-mesh repair. I have two hip replacements and am reactive. I've spoken to many people who have mesh or know someone with it and it's all bad news. It can shrink, fuse to your organs and require a nightmare surgery to fix, cause chronic pain and autoimmune issues. Al-mansour already made his mind up and argree with the last surgeron before my appointment with him and he is more worried about dropping a organ then doing surgery on a esophageal hernia that can turn into a strangulating hernia at anytime still haven't had surgery or found a surgeon to help yet..
