You don't even deserve one star. I called a week ago to order crabs and was told by Courtney, no need to order so early call day of or day before. I called yesterday to have crabs for today. I got a call today, 45 min. before expecting 15 plus people, only to be told they didn't have crabs for me. I will never spend another time at your restaurant and neither will my friends or family. This is just unbelievable.
I have always enjoyed Mays, either all you can eat or picking up bushels. But I am beyond disappointed. We had ordered a bushel of crabs for a get together today. We confirmed our order Friday May 11th and pick up was set for 4:30 today Saturday May 12. We received a call from May’s restaurant @3:45 today advising us that they were sold out and would not be able to fill our order. We now have 15 people arriving at 6pm that we cannot provide for. One of the best seafood experiences I've ever had. It's now our go-to place for seafood.
I have been to Mays several times before and have always been pleased with the food (crabs mostly) and service but last night they were outstanding and caring. My husband and I were enjoying the All You Can Eat meals and my 5 year old was done eating and was watching her tablet. Due to no fault of Mays my daughter started getting sick. I ran to the wait staff at a complete loss as to how to handle the situation. They immediately got me under control and helped get my daughter a bucket. Picked up a dozen medium crabs last night. They were clearly resteamed and all but two were so light they were not worth eating. We also had a female in there.
