Nice female doctor. Very fast and to the point. Super polite and answered all my questions without feeling rushed.
Absolute worst experience of a dermatologist ever!!!!! My skin is now completely irritated because Dr.Mays thinks it’s okay to deprive a patient of medication. I’ve been on my medication for 5 years I go to this dermatologist to redo my application for the medication and she writes the prescription with no refills knowing I need this medication. Mays Dermatology is the worst experience I have ever had in the medical realm. I booked an appointment online 3 weeks in advance when I arrived they didn’t have me scheduled and tried to put their mistake on me. They had sent a email to fill out more personal information, which should have been take as part of the booking process. I did however respond to the email to give them the information needed. This dermatology clinic is fantastic! The staff is super friendly and efficient, and the doctor is incredibly knowledgeable. They focus on providing excellent care without pushing unnecessary products or treatments. Highly recommend!
Unfortunately this practice has lost our business. The doctor was competent and in fact did solve a dermatological issue. However after one $300 follow up we were charged an additional $300 on the same day/appointment for the next scheduled follow up which was over a month and a half in the future. We were not told we would be charged the $300. They just charged it. When we called to ask them why we were double billed they then told us it was “prepayment” for the next appointment.
