Way to expensive for the quantity and quality of the food. It is cold and loud inside. We had a long wait for a table. The service was extremely slow and no help. The maple syrup is NOT maple syrup! I do not recommend going here. Not worth it.
Grabbed breakfast for two days while staying at the hotel. Nice attentive service and hearty breakfasts.
I stayed at the hotel and came down for breakfast- $25 food credit. Service was absolute TERRIBLE! It was busy, but not too busy. I was eating by myself and asked the waitress if I could sit at this table/bar, instead of waiting for a table? Her response… “Sure but it’s gonna take us a while to get to you.” Had I known it would take an hour to place my order(after approaching the mgr) I would’ve left!! Disappointing Value and Service My experience at Mayrose in Portland was unfortunately quite disappointing The main issue was the food being significantly overpriced for what you actually get. A prime example was the $25 scallop appetizer, which came with shockingly paper-thin pieces of scallops that honestly looked like they amounted to a single scallop in total.
