First visit was excellent. Honestly took more time than he should have with me.
I love Dr. Mayron, he pretty much saved my life after the jokes of Neurologist we have in Owensboro. I always recommend him to everyone I know.
had to travel over 30 miles to see him and after not being able to do a EMG, he refused to talk to me to save a trip back to Henderson. Office said I could go somewhere else. Also had trouble with the office staff. They lied to me about calling insurance company - had to get insurance company to intervene to get an appoint for the test I couldn't do. Also had dog hair in the exam room from a dog he kept in the office.

We are very sorry you had to travel, however it is not possible for our office to do any procedure without it being requested by your referring provider. Your provider requested a consult, therefore that is all we were allowed to do. If you had stayed for the consult/exam, it would determine IF a test was necessary. Your insurance company then would need to pre-authorize it. Our staff tried very hard to explain this to you. Sidney is our beloved service dog who works wonders with patients.
