Do not allow Mayo Clinic to touch you without getting a written estimate in advance -- they are relentless, unapologetic and intransigent when it comes to billing.

If would give zero stars if I could. Not only negligent behavior, but absolutely incompetent staff from billing, to scheduling, to the doctors who are slurring their words an hour late. You are disappointing
If you’re coming here for surgery, it’s important to know that they don’t let family members (including spouses) be there for pre-op or post-op recovery. They don’t let you in the room with your family members until they’re admitted to the floor. Even then they make you wait 30+ minutes from the time they get into their room until you’re allowed in, and do an assessment with the patient after the patient has been under anesthesia and does it with NO family in the room, not even their spouse.
