We traveled 4 hours to have our children seen at Mayo's ER and it was well worth it! We were treated as individuals, listened to, and help was given.
Don’t come here!! Sat in pain for hours. Went to ask how about much longer it was gonna be in order for me to be seen all I got told was we will be with you as soon as possible. Will never come to this ER ever again Update: checked in at 12:24pm and eventually walked out at 7pm without still being seen. Awful patient care. I never received any pain medication. All I got told was we will be with you as soon as possible.
No sense of urgency and the nurses are very mean. When I first moved to this town I had an accident and my finger got ripped open. The front desk workers were sweet and wrapped it in gauze but I sat for hours before a doctor even examined it. I usually don't mind waiting but that plus the fact every time I've been here the medical staff have been rude.
Nurse Dylan, Dr. Austin, and Hannah were the greatest blessings to us coming here after our 6 year old swallowed a Quarter. One of the most scariest experiences we’ve ever had with our son turned into an action plan. We went here after getting the worst service imaginable at the Austin ER. They made our son feel so comfortable and all three of them explained everything to him in a way that he was curious and calm instead of terrified. They are SUPERHEROES over at the pediatric ED!!!
