Have been waiting for almost 10 hours in the waiting room. Unbelievable
Best ER! Yes sometimes there is a long wait but it is worth it. I was given the wrong care twice for different issues from my local ER. I went to Mayo ER in Rochester and they got to the bottom of it and were able to help me. The nurses are so sweet and really care about there patients. The doctors are very thorough and actually listen to there patients. Additionally they are very educated in rare chronic illnesses. They also are the best ER around for emergency mental health services.
13 hrs and counting. If you're life is not in immediate danger or you're bleeding out it would be faster to drive to another city for care.
I was so impressed by our experience. My best friend was extremely sick and the immediate care and attention they received was amazing. The nurses took care of everything and were extremely attentive and made sure that every twist and turn was navigated safely. The doctors made good choices and ultimately saved my friend. I am sure there is a long wait time for less pressing issues, but clearly those who are in need of immediate assistance can get it. My experience at Mayo Clinic’s emergency room was a complete failure of care—after an agonizing 12-hour wait from 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM, I was seen by a doctor who asked me how to solve my medical issue, only to have us moved to a loud, chaotic hallway for another two hours while receiving zero actual treatment.
