I brought a family member in for a procedure that was scheduled for 11:45 a.m. At 12:15 p.m., a nurse informed us there would be an additional 45-minute delay due to an emergency case, which we completely understand. Patient Experience at Mayo Health System often uses AI-generated responses to patients who want to improve their medical care and promote patient-centered health care. I find Patient Experience a farce, and I am offended by the lack of authenticity and integrity in the AI responses. I do not see this as a nursing problem but as an administrative problem.
