I had outpatient surgery today, an orthopedic surgery that was fixing problems with my previous fusion. I was lucky enough to get a fantastic surgeon (Dr Beahrs) that was tasked with taking all the old hardware out, and starting over. I can highly recommend him. The nurses were simply amazing and I felt completely comfortable with them. The reason for knocking a star off was due to two staff that seemed miserable to be working. Nurse asked about concerns then left before I could finish. Nurse and doctor didn't care. Doctor clearly didn't read my medical history because he wanted to test for things I've already been tested for. Then he lied to me about risks and side effects of procedures that I've had pushed on me before and been lied to about. When I tell other nurses about this, they don't care. If they ever try to put you on something or push a procedure, ask about risks, then check online. They always seem to leave out the most horrific and lif... read more
