I’d definitely seek care elsewhere. I’m so disappointed with most of my experiences at Mayo but most of all with gastroenterology. The wait times are horrendous and they just feed the same blanket “solutions” to patients that you can find in google. Meanwhile I feel worse than ever with continuously declining health.

My experience with this facility has been a complete nightmare if cancer didn't kill me I think these people might kill me with their responses and their treatments towards me I've been back and forth because I was referred by my gastro with a referral I spoke to representative named Sophia who insulted me and told me that the previous representative didn't speak incorrect terms that I would understand because I'm a patient to me that is a lack of communication lack of professionalism in any way that's calling me a minority ... read more

I went to the G.I. department and had a consultation with Dr. Wolfson, which was wonderful. He was thorough, informative, and helpful.. I was scheduled for an endoscopy and colonoscopy with Dr. Eluri. She was attentive informative. She told me exactly what to expect before the procedure and the anesthesiologist was great. I liked him because he had a sense of humor and all I remember them saying is Donna we need you to turn on your left side.. I was a patient with Mayo Clinic GI for several years, and during that time my health declined dramatically. I was under the care of Dr. Devault, whose approach to my case was dismissive and, ultimately, harmful.
