Not sure why the reviews are so bad. To start, i personally inquired to Mayo Derm for hyperhydrosis treatment and recieved a response and subsequently an initial appointment all within a week. Now on to the dr. Doctor David Swanson. He is amazing. truly a brilliant man, wonderful bedside manner, a bit of a comedian actually, just makes me feel comfortable and confident in his level of knowledge and ability to treat my issue. I’m very grateful
Something is wrong with the reviews for the Mayo Clinic dept of Dermatology in Scottsdale, AZ. I've tried for weeks to just be seen at the clinic for a "second opinion". Never, never has the MC called me, I've always had to call them. I provided a lot of personal information to them so they can input that information into their "records" and after getting the run-around from the MC Derm dept, they sent me to "central appts" who said I need to be diagnosed with cancer to even be seen. Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience with Mayo Clinic Dermatology. During my appointment, the provider spent less than one minute with me. They seemed rushed, were cold in demeanor, and showed no interest in addressing my concerns or explaining anything. I left feeling dismissed and dehumanized. After being referred to another department, I was bounced back and forth between providers with no clear plan or communication.
