Unfortunately my experience was not the best, was actually traumatizing. Make sure if you are a minority, if your brown even worst Hispanic be aware your treatment will reflect how they feel about your ethnicity. That’s how I feel. I feel betrayed and disappointed. 1) i found a lump on my left breast in 2021and could not get help as my primary doctor had left Mayo. Without a primary doctor I could not get a mammogram, nor talk to anyone. It was 14 days before they could get me in to see a doctor 2) my annual mammograms are always false positives. Because of this I was always called back for an ultrasound which insurance company would not pay, so I had to pay $1,000 out if pocket for my second mammogram and ultrasound, which was always negative. Absolutely amazing! I would give 10 stars if I could! Dr. Dalliah Black far exceeded my expectations of a surgeon. She was rubbing my cheek as I was waiting for my sedation with anesthesia to set in. I had NO pain with her pain block. She reached out to me on holidays and even asked that my local radiation oncologist reach out to her during her vacation. She is completely selfless and is such a blessing. Anyone who has the opportunity to have her on their healthcare team is very fortunate and blessed. My surgery was perfect.... read more
Make sure you find the right doctor to help you through your diagnosis. I had a biopsy and the nurses were amazing. The surgeon answered every question I had.
Being able to do the majority of my check innonline a week prior to my appointment made things very smooth. One minor paper to fill out, and I was good. The front desk has been very helpful, and they are very quick with their calling patients back. Very clean facility. Aside from masks and sanitizer, no real covid protocol. Hopefully more photos to come.
