After years of dealing with Mayo here's the reality--excellent surgeons, below average everything else, including other medical professionals. The scheduling is a royal pain because many of the professionals are not taking appointments every day. The schedulers get confused or give wrong information. And often they don't call back when they're supposed to. Pediatric Nephrology is ineffective with their treatment of adolescents. This is truthful and serious. Listen up: The Nephrologist we had wallowed in negativity and an acquired bad taste for adolescents in general. He branded our child as medically non compliant based on grasping at straws and sought to coerce us to put him on punishment dialysis based on his oppressive assumptions that we werent filling prescriptions and therefore he was not taking his meds: a non truth our pharmacist easily contradicted.
