Maynard installed a ****3 ton HVAC system. When the sales person, Derrick D******, came to give us a quote I stated that I demand to have it permitted. Mr. D***** said they would definitely request the permit. A permit was not requested prior to installation and not requested after installation. I called a couple times to ask why there was no permit. I was told it was not required for the work they did. Maynard Fixturecraft They prioritize service calls especially in the winter. They are thorough. They offer contracts for spring and fall maintenance on heating and air units. The prices of repairs are reasonable. They are professional and show up when they tell you they will. They will refund you if they find they overcharged. They always return telephone calls.

I had Maynard Man replace all of the water lines in my basement as well as from the street to my house. During the process of installing the water line from the street to my house they tore out a drainage line that my front gutters ran to, which took the water to my driveway. Instead of reconnecting the drainage line, they just buried the end of the downspout, which means the terminus of the downspout was run to my foundation. I have used Maynard in the past. They did a decent job installing my new HVAC and new vent system. I even purchased a home health plan hoping to protect my house moving forward. A plumbing issue came up at my house, so as part of my home health plan benefit, I thought I'd reach out to Maynard first to diagnose and provide an appropriate solution to plumbing problems I was having. I had Maynard come out and service my HVAC unit. I had a squirrel get in my unit. I was told I needed a Heater repair kit and Blower wheel repair as well as having my duct work cleaned to remove the " Blood and guts." Do to the high cost got I other quotes from two other companies. Two other HVAC companies said I didn't need to clean the duct work as no part of the squirrel would have gone past the coils. *********** came out and found no damage at all. My unit is working fine. I needed a new water line from the meter to my crawl space. The tech that came out and had the line dug out and installed in 4 hours. My problem is the billing, the invoice does not match the work done. Initially I described the problem on the phone and they game me an estimate. The invoice was based on what I described on the phone and not the work complete. This is not an honest business practice and I cannot recommend the company because of this.

Just so you know when you get a quote for work by the hour it is for one technician. They will send two technicians and charge double the hourly rate. Seems very deceptive to me. I bet they do this all of the time

Colden W****** saved the day with my upstairs air conditioner! He was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. He worked in my VERY HOT attic for quite awhile and all is cooler now! I, once again, am so happy I have Maynard to call!
