They were friendly over the phone and came out quickly to fix my AC. It turned out to be a capacitor that needed to be replaced. They charged me $266.82 to replace a $15 part. The average cost of replacing a home AC capacitor is around $180, including both the cost of the capacitor and labor. So it's around $86.82 more expensive than what most places will charge you. The technician was friendly and professional. I give 3 stars on this review for overcharging.
I have used Maynard in the past. They did a decent job installing my new HVAC and new vent system. I even purchased a home health plan hoping to protect my house moving forward. A plumbing issue came up at my house, so as part of my home health plan benefit, I thought I'd reach out to Maynard first to diagnose and provide an appropriate solution to plumbing problems I was having.
