If I could give Dr. Peralta 10 out of 5 stars I would. I've been a Type 1 Diabetic since 1989 (I was around 26 years old) and I have struggled with Diabetes from the beginning. My blood sugars are all over the place and over the years I/my body has paid the price for it but I'm still here 6ft above ground. I've had an insulin pump for 20+ years and that was a BIG life changer for me. I still have issues maintaining my blood sugars (my eating habits are AWFUL) but it sure helped them. I’ve been seeing Dr. Peralta for a couple of years now. As a diabetic I’ve benefitted tremendously from her care. However, I have found members of her reception staff to be off putting, seemingly uncaring and impatient. The most recent incident happened today. At my last visit I set up a telehealth appointment for 10/28/25. I received a message that seemed to indicated that they were expecting an in-person visit so I called to confirm the telehealth visit hours before the appointment.
