Great service and very good food! They did an excellent job serving the RJR Retires! Well worth the drive from Winston-Salem.
Flounder was perfect! My husband's oysters were cooked just right...awesome food.
Had my Birthday dinner there last night and it was Outstanding..... our Server Brittany was fantastic and spot on with service, the food was excellent and as a former Restaurant Mgr for 25 Years I could tell that they change the frying oil unlike the other seafood restaurant in town, kudos on a job well done, we will be back soon.
My husband and I ate there this afternoon, both of our food was mehhh. kinda bland. Slaw tasted like commercial premade slaw from Sam's Club. Then I bit into one of my oysters and it was awful. Tasted like parmesan cheese straight outta the can. Now I did have fried squash that was delicious. The waitress adjusted the bill for mine, but we will not go there again.
Went there today for lunch ordered small fried flounder . When the waitress brought it out I thought those are very small pieces but maybe that's all they had. So I started eating no meat just skin on 2 of the pieces then it hit me it was baby flounder looked at my ticket and that's what it was. When she came back I explained this is not what I order her response o I changed it this is our lunch plate and it's cheaper, but it's not what I ordered. really good food and great service.
Every time we are in town to visit family this is our favorite place to eat. They are always so nice and show so much compassion to our daughter who is disabled and sometimes loud. The hush puppies/rings are out of this world good.
