Absolutely beautiful place. Can't wait to return to hike with the family.
Such a lovely piece of property!! Being able to picnic with the peacocks was the highlight for me!!! We will be back to enjoy the shade, flowers/grounds and of course the peacocks!!!!! It's wonderful to see that you have volunteer opportunities and be able to have a little plot of heaven for yourself to grow beautiful things.
My husband I were married there. Beautiful place to watch the peacocks and hens. Nice hiking in the area. XOX
Mayfield is my most favorite place in Austin. My granddaughter loved it more than anything. We always had to bring Black Diamond sunflower seeds for them (one of the grounds people told her they were the best brand). Now that she's gone, I feel closer to her when I visit.
Definitely worth the time to go visit! Beautifully landscaped, the little ponds were cool, and the trails & creek were truly beautiful! The peacocks & peahens are stunning, easy to see, watch & photograph. A hidden gem with unexpected serenity.
Beautiful and a fun place to take kids. The grounds are fantastic.
Fun, free, place to spend a nice Saturday. The peacocks are all roaming freely and you see them as soon as you park. Careful on those trails, the rocks are unstable.
Love the peacocks such beautiful colors of feathers. This is an awesome place everyone should come and see the beautiful grounds as well.
