We were in dire need of someone to install a new washing machine so I contacted Mayfair Plumbers after viewing some great reviews. They were immediately welcoming and polite and organised for someone to come round as soon as they could. The reviews were bang on! Wayne was professional, polite and really knew his stuff! Very disappointing experience, despite the high Google rating. I paid £144 for a one-hour inspection, but the plumber was at my property for no more than 5 minutes. He barely checked the cylinder, did not properly inspect the system, and quickly pushed for a full cylinder replacement without meaningful explanation. I was then quoted £6,000 (including VAT), with insanely high labour costs and a unit price far above market rates. Gotta give my hat off to Ricky – he’s been an absolute star! Not only did he sort out my gas cooker installation perfectly, but he also redid the plumbing, tidied all the cables, and made sure every little detail was taken care of. He even tackled things I was completely helpless with, and left the whole area spotless. Professional, friendly, and someone who clearly takes real pride in his work. I had a fantastic experience with Mayfair Plumbers. I had an emergency bathroom leak, and James came by the next day to take a look. He quickly found the source of the issue and suggested a proper long-term fix. A few days later, he came back and sorted everything out perfectly. The work was neat, professional, and the customer service was excellent. I’ll definitely be recommending Mayfair Plumbers and using them again in the future!
