Years ago, Mayfair used to be a posh shopping destination, but I'm sad to say it's headed south. Crime is on the rise as the undesirable element that ruined Northridge has now shifted its base of operations to western Wauwatosa. To its credit, mall security has done its best to crack down on unescorted youths aimlessly roving the place, but the problems stem as much from the actions of adults as kids.
