My city completed some water pipe work on my street which resulted in damage to my pipes. I was insured so a crew came out and repaired my pipes but they had to do a lot of digging which left damage to the lawn. A crew from Mayes and Sons shows up unannounced much later to fix the lawn but we had started digging to repair electrical lines that had also been ripped from the initial work. Highly recommend this company to everyone! I had outstanding service 3 times but the 3rd time was even more outstanding. I had an "appointment" for Cleveland Water to come out in the morning and shut off main water line so Mayes Plumbing could replace the inside valve. And predictably (Cleveland Water) showed up at 3:45pm with an attitude (UNREAL!). I installed a Rheem water heater from one of the big box stores and after all the plumbing was complete the pilot on the new unit would not light. I had to deal with the Rheem warranty people, and had to wait for the parts to be shipped to me rather than having someone local come to the house with the needed parts and fix the thing. I had Dave come out to bore a cable line under my driveway. It was the responsibility of the cable company and they refused to do it the correct way. I explained my situation to Dave and he and his crew were out the next day and ran the line and connected it in under two hours, they bored over 110 feet under the driveway!!! This was in the dead of winter and like most we needed our internet as we are working partially from home in this pandemic. They solved a major problem that the big cable company refused to do! Terrible Terrible Experience. This company is clueless. The plumber came out and I ask him the cost to replace faucet knobs ,install shut off valve for dishwasher and cost to install new faucet. He stated he did no know cost and it was just awkward silence. Then when ask who would know cost if he didn't. He stated he had to go to his car and call office to get cost, after abt 20min he stated knobs cost $125, when ask about new faucet cost and shut off valve again he apparently forgot to ask .
