Best food I've had here so far. Fresh and refreshing
What a gem of a place! Discovered it quite by accident as it's stop #11 on the hop on hop off tours. The 3 of us all had something different and we shared the delicious, sensitively spiced foods and declared it the best of our New Orleans trip! I'm only sorry we don't have this back in Canada!
The quality of food, presentation, and atmosphere in Mayas is, absolutely, wonderful. If you have not tried this place you really are missing out!
Lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday....her choice....in a city of fine restaurants, Mayas is a real stand out and one of our very favorites. The food and service are ALWAYS just perfect. We've tried quite a few of the menu items, and it's impossible to pick a favorite: everything is fresh and perfectly prepared. We'll be back, and often....it's not a requirement for us, but the portions are always large and the prices are always reasonable.
The food was excellent, the wait staff was very friendly, informative and attentive, a very nice dining experience!
Delightful! Dined with a friend that I met in South America, and the food is equivalent and superior to anything had in South America!
