Ignore negative reviews, May Restaurant is GOOD – I almost didn't visit May Restaurant because someone had written a negative review of it (unfortunately, the one featured in the short blurb that comes up when doing a Google search). What my wife and I experienced was the opposite of the negative review. The dishes we had--Larb Gai, Summer Fire and Lemongrass Chicken--were quite tasty. Nick, our waiter, was friendly, personable and prompt in serving us. And the atmosphere--a reconstructed restaurant from Thailand--was conduc... read more

Wow – I drove by this place so many times and always wonder what the food is like. It reminds me of this temple in Thailand. I used to live there for 5 years, traveling to many places in Thailand and always love to try their local food. It has been 3 years since I left. I missed the food, because most Thai restarant around Seattle have Americanize food with American ingredients. I was a little sceptical about this place at first but decided to try it out anyways. I walked in and was stunned by how beautiful it looks from the... read more

Fun happy hour spot! May's may be a little pricey, but the food and authentic Thai architecture and design make it a really fun place to eat. Love their bar-- decked out in gold and red, lots of traditional Thai decor. Has an upscale feel for sure. They also have a great happy hour menu!

THE WORST !!! – I'm a Seattle native and have eaten at almost every Thai restaurant in Seattle. I also lived in Thailand for 6 years. Thai food is my favorite cuisine. Trust me when I say that May Thai is THE WORST Thai restaurant in Seattle or surrounding areas. The food is HORRIBLE, the prices are CRAZY, and the "service" is insane how bad it is. Our waitress didn't even pretend to care. Check out reviews on other sites and you'll start to see the same things I'm saying in this review. Trust me, eat ANYWHERE but here !!!

Great Lounge Atmosphere, Snacks and Drinks! – So I've been to this place a few times now and have to say all of the reviews on this page are correct to a certain extent. The Main menu does seem to be overpriced, but the Happy hour menu (Described to us as an almost Thai Tapas Menu) is reasonable and tasty. The portions are not huge on either but there are some real gems in there. The lounge downstairs is an excellent place to relax with your friends, have a drink and listen to an eclectic mix of music. The Bartenders are fri... read more

Great Thai Food This place is a little bit pricey and upscale, but worth the quality of the food you get. It's a great place for a nice dinner or for a birthday or special occasion. It is authentic thai food with a great atmosphere.

No hospitality there. Over priced, that's ok..... when it comes with service, but this place has opposite! we got over charged on the bill which the server admits it was her fault, and tells us there is no way to fix it. wrong item, cold food, over cooked food and rude service. i would never go back there. Had good meal in the past, so very dissapointed, but it was just bad enough, we are not taking a risk to give them another chance.

Great Enviroment, Great Drink, Goodfood, – I was very impressed about the restaurant when I first came there. The building is fantastic.Very easy to recognize it buz it looks like a thai temple(outside). It has a lot of cute settings, including the folk and knife(server told me they bought from Thailand), heavy but nice.Restaurant does not have any bad smell(like old food), wood floor, open window, nice! About the Drink.Love Lychee Kazi, I think they have three different bartenders, love the two guys, they make great drink, m... read more
