Me and my husband decided to hire another office to do the Expedite Package for us, so we were able to send it right after we spoke with this office. Within exactly 7 days, we received an approval. Not thanks to this office. As per all the information they gave, we should be still waiting once we are on "time" for immigration time processing. And i believe it is really just being lazy! DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!! I would have rather burned my money rather than give to Valerie May immigration law group. First of all, I barely ever write reviews. The only reason I'm writing a review is that these people were immensely unprofessional. I had planned on filing my EB1 petition through them. They asked me for a $3000 initiation fee, which I payed. Im very unhappy with her work ,we lost the case. She is not responsive . This lawyer took my money (6000$)and did nothing.I would not suggest anyone use this firm.When we first met Ms. May was very sweet, but ( as some reviewer mentioned before) proceeded to talk badly about another immigration lawyer in the area in order to get my money without meeting with others. After signing up I worked with different paralegals and never saw her again.

I would not suggest anyone use this firm. They don't answer calls and work gets passed off to different assistants who end up leaving & it goes to another! They messed up forms & of course denied it and made some lame excuse. Valerie was completely rude as well. Once they get your money your case just sits- they just paper push.

Valerie and her team really know what they're doing. My partner and I were dealing with a difficult situation, and Valerie's expertise made all the difference. What amazed us the most is she knows exactly how long everything takes. She'd tell us what to expect, and when, and she was right all the way. We wouldn't recommend anyone else in Pittsburgh other than Valerie May. If you want the best, she's the one!

I don't even know where to start. The reviews below say it all. There are plenty of competent lawyers in Pittsburgh that deserve your money instead of this joke. Staff is unresponsive and rude. Dropped this place the first time I heard the lead lawyer throw a tantrum that would have put my 3 year old to shame. The poster below is right. All of the support staff did seem to "jump off the merry-go-round" - the clients should take a hint and follow suit.

Possibly historically good service, but not now! – Looking at my fellow posters who have used May Law, there seems to be a trend. Positive service initially, but now a constant stream of disenchantment. My experience mirrors those recently, errors by the team, failure to accept the responsibility for those mistakes, too many cases and not enough staff, and an obsession with getting money before they'd even copy a piece of paper.
