Recently took a 24' flatbed to the Columbia location, both parties agreed on list of repair items and $ limit not to exceed. A simple request to be contacted when invoice reached 1000$ for approval to go beyond. Request was confirmed multiple times with multiple employees. BUT we were not contacted. And when it was picked up, not only was the ticket not created yet... the total was 1350$. AND all the items we agreed to be done were not completed. Blew a tire on hwy70. Friend was following me. We were 4 tenths of a mile from exit and 7 tenths from maxwell. Quick version. New employee said they had 2 tires tgat would fit mine. 90 dollars each. Told him we would take it off and get it to him but would want other replaced also. He said, i will come there. Pick it up get it back to you. Then head up. They can change the other. When i arrived. If I could give no stars I would. This place is a lick and stick outfit. Used zip ties to hold together new truck after having the bed taken off and flatbed put in its place. The welder did a horrible job. Couldn’t put gas in the tanks without standing at an impossible angle. They tore it all apart and must’ve closed their eyes to slap it together. Took an entire day from work. Due to having to keep taking it to MIDWAY FORD in KANSAS CITY for repairs to their sloppy work my schedule was all over the place. Maxwell charged me... read more
