I guess I should take the blame for overpaying at this place but the guy clearly took advantage of the fact that I didn't know what one of these trailers should cost. I paid $5,200 for a trailer that costs $4,000 when manufactured by DooLittle. Little did Maxwell's sales guy in Columbia know that I needed to purchase several of these trailers not just the one he ripped me off on. I had a trailer built to fit my Smart car so I could pull it behind my motorhome. They did an excellent job building the trailer except one problem. I had diamond plate installed in the bed and over fender wells. Instead of using stainless carriage bolts, they used steel. Almost every head of the bolts in the bed have rusted. Cost ?
