Do not hire this company under any circumstances. They are the worst. I own an apartment in NYC, 300 E 64th Street, and my building recently fired the old management company, and hired Maxwell-Kates. They are completely unresponsive. They don't answer phone calls, they don't respond to emails. The super in my building has been missing in action for 2 weeks, and this company cannot be reached. They collect monthly checks and that's it. The prior management company was way more responsive. Peter Yee is in charge of my building... read more

Avoid hiring them at all costs. I first notified management 5 weeks ago about the pipes inside my walls banging around the clock morning, noon and night. I have since continued to reach out to Maxwell-Kates daily to assist with finding a solution to the problem. It has been extremely hard to get in touch with them and the few times they have responded they have been of no assistance. As you can hear in the videos attached, this disruption at all hours of the day and night have basically made my apartment inhabitable. I have ... read more

I'm trying to purchase an apartment in a building managed by Maxwell-Kates, and they've been keeping my application hostage for 60 days. It was pulling teeth to get them to officially tell me I was approved (something that the coop board strongly suggested during the interview) -- Madison Asaro and Kim Rabsatt completely ignored all of my emails and calls for two weeks. The only way I got them to finally respond was to call a random phone number in the MKI directory and beg one of their colleagues to get me an update. Right ... read more

Whom to blame? Your agent ‘promised’ me years ago ‘the masonry will be restored in ‘the spring’. Many years later, was purportedly restored. [Apparently not!] but NOT the south wall! My interior is tumbling. thirty ? Years ago, our bedroom was plastered and has held up. The other work , this spring is apparently a failure; its mess remains. Oh, by the way… the east elevator is a sad mess. ‘Lipstick’ would restore it….. The lobby, apparently worked on 5 years ago, was truly a vanity project.

I was having a problem accomplishing a clerical accounting change. My commercial bank failed to provide support or help. So I called my building’s Managing Agent and left a voice message. Bogi Zabicki immediately called back, listened to me attentively, and advised a precise course or action, which led to my expeditiously solving the problem. She did so with intelligence, patience and great efficiency. Thank you, Bogi!
