Maxine's is a quirky & fun place! The ambiance, delicious food & top-notch service made it a must visit if you have not been. And it is in a beautiful historic neighborhood as well. We will definitely be back!
Second visit, and it just keeps getting better! This was our second time at Maxine’s on Shine, and we were excited to return after thoroughly enjoying the beef carpaccio on our first visit. We went for Father’s Day brunch and our server Dana was fabulous, the ambiance is unique and very fun! My husband and daughter got a mimosa and sangria and enjoyed them. The food was good, but not exceptional. I’d say standard fare with our favorite part being the biscuits (for the price you can find better, again not bad, but not great, we pretty much finished our plates but I honestly think that had more to do with getting our moneys worth).
