Food is great. Be prepared to spend a few hours there…everyone is having a good time but the service is HELLA SLOW. I needed ice and I watched the bar take 15 mins on two drinks lol. Overall 4.5 experience
We visited Maxine’s on Shine to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday. There were five adults and one 15-year-old teenager in our group. I chose this restaurant because I had been wanting to try it, especially since it is Michelin-recommended and also part of Orlando Magical Dining. Orlando favorite for many years. Go early, street parking is very limited and there is no valet service.
This place is overhyped. Came here for magical dining for the first time because I've heard raving reviews. I regret spending $40+ here. I got their soup of the day. It was okay. It wasn't life changing. It was a tomato soup base with clam and conch. It sounded good but really emotionally I tasted was the tomato.
