Excellent company!!!! I've used Maxim for a number of years.
I've personally worked with Maxim Healthcare for 4 years now. 2.5 years out in the field (PSA) and now I work full time in the office for the past year and a half. it's been the greatest experience that I've had with a company, and I've never felt more part of a team. I'm thankful everyday for the experiences I have with the internal staff, families, and our experienced nurses. I would recommend Maxim as a place of employment as well as a provider for your love ones!
I have been with Maxim for around 3 years. I love the ability for growth within the company and the wide variety of settings offered. I have also gained valuable experience as a Pediatric Nurse that will give me leverage in my future career aspirations. Working one on one with the patients has been very fulfilling as a nurse, as I am able to give exceptional care. The bonus and incentive programs are nice as well!
Awful! Should receive no stars as the company/program is a sham. Nurse, Mary, who did initial home visit to set up patient file was wonderful. When calling to schedule respite care never received a call back on any of the 5 phone calls. Do not use this company! Beware!
Bad case managers left my daughter's case unstated and then dropped her case AFTER hiring the nurses I FOUND to staff it!
Had this company since the first of Feb.2015, out 40 hours alloted me a month, I received 7 hours as of the 20th. Real staffing issues, better not be to sick at home, or disabled, homes are not meant to be coffins.
Maxim Silver Spring is now located on Wayne Ave, however it's the same unprofessional office staff and rude clinical nurse manager. Frequent staffing issues with my son, new nurses with no homecare/ pediatric experience or familiarity with the company or the paperwork.
Maxim Companion Services was able to help my grandma and grandpa when no one else was willing to work with our budget. So many people only write reviews when they have something to complain about so I figured I'd show some appreciation. They have since passed but I know they were happy and would recommend Maxim healthcare to anyone and everyone. This unskilled service helped relieve so much stress off our family.
