I started with Maxim as an LPN and have stayed since getting my RN. It was a daunting experience at first, but I felt super supported by the office staff in ensuring I had rigorous training to take care of medically complex kids. The Salt Lake Office recruiting will tell you everything you want and need to hear about coverage when in reality they can’t meet your needs. Communications not just lacks but the office will lie as well. Monthly schedules will be promised and then they’ll move coverage mid month. Nothing is dependable and definitely not honest. Way too many cooks in the kitchen and no real direction or leadership. Nurses 5/5 stars.
My experience with them felt like a joke honestly. They didn't care about how we felt. The nurse we had kept turning off my son's monitor when he was prescribed continuous monitoring by his pulmonologist (I've got video proof of this), not to mention my son was sick at the time and on 4 times the amount of his normal oxygen concentration, but they didn't care and when I tried canceling services they didn't even listen to me everyone just kept transferring my phone call around.
