I have been very disappointed with my experience with Maxim Home Health. Communication has been a constant issue, especially regarding staffing. Despite repeatedly explaining that I need advance notice of schedule changes because I have a job that supports my family, they continue to wait until the last minute to notify me of problems or coverage issues. I do NOT recommend Maxim Healthcare Services based on my experience as a RN. From the start, onboarding was disorganized. My recruiter lacked the experience to manage basic steps, and I had to push repeatedly just to get required training scheduled and completed. Months later, I was contacted about missing patient-specific orientation (PSO) paperwork from my September onboarding and told it could be a HIPAA violation on my license. Highly recommend them! I love the staff and the nurses. My youngest son who is 7 years old with Autism and global developmental delay is currently enrolled for assistance and has his own nurse. He was hospitalized back in July and we had to go with a quick decision for surgery for a GI Tube. Best decision we made and now that we have help for him through this facility, we are forever grateful. My son is very happy. He has gained 7 pounds since he's been in their care.
