Two appointments in month after hospital discharge for foot infection, MD met me for ten minutes each but never examined my wound. Set 3d appt three months later. Meanwhile infection returned but MD would not authorize antibiotics without exam of wound. (I have to hire, at my expense, companion for appts...ins. will not cover....why was no exam done in two previous visits?) Search for new MD discovered and I was cut off as patient, leaving me without PCP for three weeks while infection untreated. Shabby.
