Dr. Patel has horrible bedside manner. He also doesn’t believe his patients about any pre-conditions. He literally asked me how do I know I have Muscular Dystrophy and Asthma. He wanted to know why I need a referral for a neurologist when I have a neurologist-muscular disease. He thinks he is the smartest doctor to walk the Earth. The staff will lie about numerous things. My uncle was a patient at this facility, and despite his clear need for surgery due to a kidney stone and prostate complications, the focus remained on prescribing insulin. Dr. Laura McGovern’s decision to deny him the necessary surgical intervention was deeply troubling, especially given the level of pain he was experiencing.
